We depend on the involvement of caring adults to accomplish our mission—to reach local teens with the message that God loves them and has a plan for their lives.
We are asking God to raise up an army of caring adults who will establish relationships with kids around Polk County. We need volunteers in Lakeland, Winter Haven, Haines City, Lake Wales, and surrounding areas who will serve directly with students, intercessors, financial partners, and help in the office. Wherever your gifts and talents lie, you can make an eternal difference in a young person’s life.

WORKING WITH THE KIDS
Get in on the action! We always need caring, mature adults to meet with the many teens we serve. Volunteers must go through a screening process. We offer on-going training to help you be encouraged and effective in your role.
EVENT SUPPORT
We hold special events throughout the year to raise vital funds for our work. We rely on volunteers to help make these events a success.
LEADERSHIP
We welcome business leaders and professionals who are willing to lend their expertise to advance our work. We also lean on professionals for advice on vocational enterprises for our teens.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Prefer a more behind-the-scenes approach? We have a need for office help, event planning support, and other temporary or on-going assistance.

JUVENILE JUSTICE MINISTRY
For those who are considering investing the time and effort to impact the life of justice involved youth from our community – here are a few specific ways men and women have the opportunity to serve at our JJM sites…
WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
- Teach a Bible lesson, share your testimony, or special talent (Sunday morning and night, special event dates)
- A willingness to come and build an authentic Christ sharing relationship with a hurting teenager
- Help with a YFC special event withing the facilities throughout the year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc.)
- Purchase Bibles, food, and gifts (hygiene and others) for special events
- Be a discipleship mentor, meeting one on one with an incarcerated youth
- Pray for justice involved teenagers
- Financially support the Juvenile Ministry of YFC
- Invite others to come serve alongside YFC
